Located in Inani, Cox’s Bazar, The Wave Resorts Ltd. is a transformative adaptive reuse project that modernizes an existing coastal structure into a striking hospitality retreat. The defining intervention is a grand, undulating timber canopy engineered to mimic ocean waves. This dynamic roof shelters a newly opened, porous ground-floor lounge and dining deck, seamlessly blurring the boundary between built space and the lush tropical landscape. Above, modernized guest suites feature extended balconies and contemporary wood cladding, ensuring coastal resilience. Playful marine sculptures anchor the site, completing this harmonious blend of resilient engineering and coastal serenity.
