This project exemplifies a transformative adaptive reuse of a conventional three-story concrete hotel. The primary architectural intervention introduced a robust, multi-level timber exoskeleton to the existing stark facade. This secondary framework creates deep, shaded balconies while serving as a dynamic trellis for lush, climbing vegetation, naturally cooling the structure and softening its visual mass. At the ground level, vernacular thatched-roof entryways introduce localized warmth. Complementing this vertical greening, the site masterplan weaves rich, biodiverse landscaping, artistic focal points, and fluid pathways throughout the grounds, seamlessly converting a static building into an immersive, ecologically sensitive coastal sanctuary.
